Jared Richardson has been a Professional Forester for Northwest Management, Inc.’s Helena, MT office since 2005. Mr. Richardson works with various crews to gather timber inventory and volume data for both industrial and non-industrial clients. He is responsible for the development and implementation of silvicultural prescriptions and develops and administers timber sales. Mr. Richardson is also involved in the prescribed burning and wildland fire fighting programs. He is also required to research, compose and assist in the implementation of Stewardship Plans for private NMI clients.
Mr. Richardson’s previous experience consists of five years in the natural resource field with several companies. He was responsible for reducing fuel loads and creating Defensible Space around residences and improving fores thealth through fuels mitigation and volume reduction. He served as a safety coordinator, inspected and administered tree planting projects, set up timber sales and conducted timber harvest and pre-commercial thinning administration.
